The exciting new Fair of Bergamo is a flexible, hi-tech and dynamic building which can host many different kinds of events. Its aim is to compete with the most important provincial and regional fairs and to develop, to enlarge and to transform itself. The structure is inspired by the European Exhibition models: exhibition areas that can be used all year round, pavilions of medium size, meeting rooms and a restaurant area. The purpose of the Exhibition centre is to promote and support industry, trade, arts and crafts, agriculture, new techniques of production and marketing through exhibitions. conferences and meetings. Now the Fair of Bergamo is promoting its exhibition also abroad.

The first objective is to use 50,000 sqm of exhibition area every year for provincial events, to promote new events on the textile, clothing and electro-mechanics sector.

The structure consists of 4 bodies, located in a total area of 173,000 sqm, including 3 main halls: two of 6,500 sqm and one of 3,000 sqm. Outside there is a further 35,000 sqm of exhibition area and parking for 1.800 cars. In the near future the indoor exhibition area will be of 40,000 sqm.

The Centre is a multi-purpose building spread over a number of floors, each of them has a different function: the ground floor includes main entrance, reception, cloakrooms, ticket and information offices together with public meeting areas; the first floor provides office accommodation: technical, sales and promotional offices, meeting room and press office; the second floor provides executive offices, meeting and conference rooms.

The Meeting centre has a hall of 440 seats, equipped with facilities for simultaneous translation and other two halls of 40 and 60 seats.

There are two restaurants, one of 50 seats offering waiter service, and a self-service area with 220 seats and three bars.

Recently a third pavilion of 3,000 sqm has been built. It is located at the end of the central Hall.

CENTRAL GALLERY
Through the large central gallery it is possible to reach the pavilions and all the services offered by the Exhibition Center.
The building details of the central gallery are very refined.
The floor is in decorated marble and it gives an elegant and refined image at the entrance, the large windows, on the other side, give an image of warm welcome and brightness. The high design furniture are reflected on the reception, point of reference for the visitors for any information.

ENTRANCE
The entrance include a large platform, the reception, with eight places for the ticket offices, the wardrobe and the luggage room, the hall, the administrative offices and the entrance for the operative offices and the direction at the first floor.
The staff welcomes in a professional and fast way the visitors with electronic counters, telephones and computers

PAVILLIONS

There are three separated pavilions, with its technical services. Two pavilions are multi-functional: sportive events, cultural and musical events are organized. They are symmetric to the central gallery and have an area of 6.500 sqm without column so that the stands could be regular and well organized.
At the end of the gallery there is the third pavilion of 3.000 sqm.

Outside there is an “Area expo”of 30.000 sqm with wide equipped squared with all the services.
A lot of different events are organized outside or in proper tents.

MEETING CENTER

The Meeting Center is a complex structure composed by two rooms, one of 440 seats ( divisible into two rooms of 220 seats) and the other one of 35 seats, equipped with all the technological services.
The direction room is equipped with the best devices and equipment audio and video to allow the best conditions for the various speeches.
There are eight places for simultaneous translation to satisfy any kind of meeting, even international.
The offices could organize and manage every kind of event in all the details.

RESTAURANTS

The Exhibition Center has 5 places where eating.
A restaurant à la carte of 50 places and a self-service restaurant of 220 places. A wide range of tipical products, warm or cold, wines and dessert.
In the pavilions and in the central gallery there are three bars that offers sandwiches, snacks and beverage.

OFFICES

The offices are at the first and second floor, respectively of 730 and 850 sqm. To reach them there are two lifts and three stairs.
At the first floor there is the technical office, the commercial office, the promotional office, the meeting room and the press room while the second floor there are the directional and administrative offices and the conference room.

PARKING

The parking area, closed to the exhibition center, covers 41.300 sqm with 1.800 parking lots and proper areas for disabled.
